Começa em São Gabriel da Cachoeira a 2ª Assembléia Geral do Povo Indígena do Rio Negro, que reunirá cerca de 300 lideranças indígenas. Estarão presente, ainda, membros da FUNAI, Cimi e CEDI. O objetivo será, entre outros aspectos, esclarecer o Projeto Calha Norte.
