A Coiab deverá convidar as cerca de quinhentas ONGs registradas na Amazônia para uma reunião. Segundo Darcy Marubo, o objetivo da reunião é saber quem são e o que já fizeram, tais organizações, pelos índios. De acordo com Marubo, muitas ONGs utilizam a imagem dos índios a fim de conseguir prestígio e dinheiro.
